Heat Pump Rebates up to $10,000
Canada's new National Heat Pump Rebate helps homeowners switch to a cold climate heat pump. Your rebate depends on your household income: up to $10,000 for households at or below the median income, and $2,000 for households above it. Spring Home, Toronto's recognized HRAI Heat Pump Champions, sizes and installs your system so it's set up to qualify.

- Installations from November 1, 2026 may qualify
- No energy audit required
- Online applications expected to open in early 2027
What Is the National Heat Pump Rebate?
The National Heat Pump Rebate is part of the Government of Canada's One Million Home Energy Retrofits initiative. Environment and Climate Change Canada is investing $2 billion to help up to 820,000 households install a cold climate heat pump.
The rebate is for heat pump systems that can heat your entire home, purchased from and installed by an HVAC contractor. You can replace electric, natural gas, oil, propane, diesel, coal or wood heating, and you don't need to remove your existing system.
