We have relied for many years on the efficient office staff to schedule twice-yearly checks of our furnace and AC units. We woke up on a very very cold January morning to a dead furnace. I knew it was on its way out but I was hoping to get another season out of it before breaking up with Reliance. A neighbour had recommended Spring Home a while back. I called, and a real person answered, who remembered the street name from servicing my neighbour's home.I was told Justin would come later that day, and despite having to drive over from the west end on the 401 during rush hour, he showed up. He must have been tired but it didn't show, and he patiently and expertly walked us through exactly what we needed for our situation. We went with a Trane furnace and a Mitsubishi Mitsair Cold Climate heat pump. He explained why heat pumps get a bad rap and dispelled a lot of myths around them (we would have gone all electric, non-hybrid, but that would have required an upgrade of our electric panel etc.).Right after our first phone call earlier that day, Justin put Peter, an amazing technician, on standby for the next day. Peter showed up much earlier than expected and had our new furnace up and running before dinner. Peter also left the area around the new furnace cleaner and better than it was before, specifically the drain cover plate in the basement floor and much of the tubing and straps. He also repaired a botched patch job a previous tech did, even though it will be coming out when the heat pump is added soon. Peter is a master.Justin and everyone else at Spring Home take pride in their work. The company does not use subcontractors: everyone is a bona fide employee. Nobody is trying to unload equipment that might not be good for your setup, or do some business on the side. Not gonna lie, it was nice to call Reliance and cancel their "protection" plan. Their water heater will be next to go.We are very happy with the way Spring Home is treating us. They are handling all the heat pump rebate stuff too. Thanks again, Justin!

Lost our longtime POS Goodman furnace during the crazy heat of July '25 in Toronto. Shopped a number of HVAC companies in the GTA, speaking to a lot of salesmen with varying degrees of knowledge and frankly, credibility.Justin Salgado from Spring Home was straight-forward and informative...he listened to my needs and explained why his solution got me the right furnace installed properly. And yes, the price was very competitive.The installation was perfect, everything clean and tidy and of course, to code unlike the garbage install the installers had done 18 years before (see pics). I recently had a mini split ductless heater AC unit installed in the entire experience was nothing short of fantastic. From start to finish the team was professional efficient and incredibly knowledgeable. Justin a specialist in furnaces and air conditioners took the time to come over, do the initial measurements and pre installation inspection that other companies simply leave out. This was one of the best consultation and installation services that I have ever experienced. From the very first phone call, Justin was knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions. He stayed on the phone with me for at least an hour and then on tjat same day which happened to be a Saturday night, he drove out to my house for further consultation. Upon arriving he spent at least another 30 minutes talking to me about different products and brands and what would be best for our home. Once we decided to uae their services, Justin sent several followup texts and phone calls to ensure all our needs would be met. All of thia was even before the installation began. We purchased a new furnace ans A/C unit. Justin prioritized our order since we had been with out heat two weeks and it's December. Our installation techs were Quang and Behram and they arrived on time and were excellent. Overall, a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend Justin, Quang, Behram and Spring Home!!!

I reached out to Spring Home after a friend recommended them and specifically recommended one of their reps, Justin. My aging parents needed a new furnace and wanted to install a heat pump. About 15 years ago, they were victims of a shady high-pressure door to door sales company that disappeared as soon as the equipment was installed, so my parents were very nervous about having any company come in. Their old furnace and AC never worked properly and struggled to heat and cool the house evenly.Shortly after contacting Spring Home, Justin reached out and met us at the house the same day. Before even looking at the equipment, he sat down with my parents and took the time to genuinely listen to what they liked, what they did not like, and what they were hoping for. He explained the differences between the units, how heat pumps work, and what realistic expectations should be. He explained everything in plain language, which made my parents feel comfortable, and he went through everything from the differences between brands and how they are manufactured to the pros and cons of different types of units. Over the years, we have received other quotes, but we never felt like we truly understood the differences because every company only praises the brands they sell. Justin made it easy for my parents to choose based on what was important to them, which I really appreciated.One thing that really impressed me was that Justin completed a full heat loss and heat gain calculation for the house and sized the equipment based on the actual needs of the home. I have purchased several furnaces in the past, and I have never had a rep or company do this. We discovered that the existing equipment was significantly oversized, which makes me wonder why this is not standard practice across the industry.The installation team was excellent. They were professional, knowledgeable, polite, and they cleaned up after themselves. The work was done properly, and my parents feel safe and comfortable with their decision to go with Spring Home. We have been using their services since 2008. All the furnaces and air conditioners Mr George and his team recommended and installed have been working properly for years. My child home furnace was old and completely broke down two days ago, I called George and he showed up the second day and arranged a new furnace installed the next day . When my hot water tank broke, I called Spring Home Heating and Cooling.They gave me different options for replacing it. I choose to go with a tankless water heater. They were very polite and professional removed the old tank and installed the new tankless heater. Cleaned up and explained how the new tankless heater worked. I was very happy with the service Spring Home provided and I would recommend them.

My AC went down over the summer and my house turned into an oven during the peak of Covid-19!! Fortunately, I found Spring Home to help me resolve the situation. Had a great experience with Sam for sales and Peter and Jack as the installers for our ductless ac. We had a unique situation where we were running the pipes through the soffits in an effort the minimize the visibility of the pipes. Peter and Jack did a great job to make things look clean and tidy. About 12 years ago, we decided to upgrade our heating & cooling system. Spring Home was one of the companies that we approached for a quote. I recently had my 30+ yr old AC system replaced by Spring Home Heating & Cooling. I'm pleased with the install and everything has been problem free and working well during an immediate heat wave that followed.The work that was required was more than a typical replacement due to the furnace orientation and low basement height requiring some custom ductwork as well as the need for a new pad and hydro/refrigerant lines. The entire process was fairly straightforward. I submitted a quote request through their website and received a call from Justin the next day. We scheduled an in-person visit and discussed options, quotes etc... Once I decided to proceed with a quote, a deposit was made through their website and then an install date scheduled.On the install date, the workers were on time and proceeded to put down tarps everywhere they needed to access. After a short discussion about some minor details, they split up and worked on the outside and inside areas concurrently. After the work was completed that day, they tested the system and made sure everything was working properly. Paperwork was completed before leaving.The next day a follow-up phone call from Justin was received to discuss how the install went and any existing issues.My impressionsPros:Justin was always professional, returning phone call/message/emails in a timely manner. Was comprehensive in detailing the possible options for installation/equipment etc...Installers were punctual, mindful of keeping the area clean, setting off alarms, leaving doors open in case you have pets, completing the work in a timely manner and informing you of what they needed to do.Equipment/parts were correct and in working order.Cons:Really just some minor things that could be improved.More attention to details for items like delivering/writing quotes could be improved, especially since an in-person visit was performed. Due to the changing work order, the initial deposit was not applied correctly to the final work order but was rectified quickly. As a suggestion possibly come up with a standard quote checklist form so its less likely to forgot an item.Installers could bring more supplies that might be needed for custom work. i.e. wood/brackets to create supports etc... Maybe small chairs for clients like me that have very low basement ceilings 🙂 Language can be a bit of a barrier but not a deal breaker.Overall I wouldn't hesitate to call Justin and have Spring Home Heating & Cooling perform any future HVAC needs I might need.Cheers

A few years ago, we had our air conditioning replaced by Spring Home - Sam La. Our new air conditioning system was up and running within a few days. We received wonderful service from the team.During the cold weather our furnace broke down and need to be replaced. I am very pleased with the service provided by Spring Home, from initial contact to installation and follow-up. I inquired with three companies about installation of a ductless system and Spring Home was the first to reply, the very next day in fact even though it was a holiday. Sam La patiently answer my questions, including those not directly related to the current project. This all took place during Covid-19 stage 2 and everyone from Spring Home who came to the house was masked, which I appreciated. On top of the quality service, the price was less than that quoted by the two other companies. I would recommend Spring Home to anyone considering ductless or other HVAC work.It is now 2025. I recently contacted Spring Home again to replace my old mid-efficiency furnace as well as the central air conditioning compressor, which had failed in 2024. I also wanted to replace my very old rental hot water tank with a tankless system. Sam La helped me understand all the options for heat pumps, back up heat and tankless not water systems. It took me some time to make a final decision, but Sam was always available to answer questions and point out the pros and cons of various options. Installation was done efficiently over two days. I am very happy with the new system and as with the mini-split installation in 2021, I would continue to recommend Spring Home for anyone considering HVAC work.

Justin and Spring Home were extremely knowledgeable, and gave us the peace of mind that they were the right choice to go with our furnace and heat pump information. They provided us with a number of options, and gave us the information and space to make our own decisions.Justin was in contact with us the entire process, and followed up after the installation to ensure everything was done right. Having access to his work cell number was very useful when we had questions.Spring Home wasn't the cheapest option, but they offer legit brands, prompt and professional installation, and great before and after sales support. I wouldn't trade that for any discount from a shop that offers anything less.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Justin from Spring Home to upgrade both my water heater to a tankless system and my furnace to a 2-stage variable speed unit. As someone who's been in the trades for years, I usually go into these situations with a bit of skepticism. When my furnace needed replacing I knew my and my AC wasn’t far behind so I started shopping around. I might not specialize in HVAC, but I know enough to spot good workmanship and sound advice. That’s exactly what I got from Justin at Spring Home.Right off the bat, Justin stood out. He didn’t just show up to sell me a system. Instead, he took the time to really explain how everything worked and what options made sense for my home. He asked the right questions, listened to what was important to me, and based his recommendations on that, not just a cookie-cutter approach.He also suggested a few small ductwork tweaks that have made a noticeable difference in how the system performs. My house is more comfortable than it’s ever been. No more hot and cold spots, just even, quiet airflow.One thing that really impressed me was that Justin was the only salesperson who actually did a proper heat load calculation to size the equipment. Everyone else just quoted the same size I already had, no questions asked. I had an outstanding experience with Spring Homes.About 10 years ago, they installed my AC, but unfortunately, the job wasn’t done efficiently. I didn’t realize the issue until recently, when I reached out to Sam for a quote on a new furnace.From the start, Sam was incredibly honest and upfront. He took full responsibility for the mistake made during the original AC installation, which I really appreciated. He explained that at the time, Spring Homes was a young company and didn’t yet have the systems in place to ensure all installations were done flawlessly. His transparency and integrity immediately stood out to me.I had quotes from three other companies, but they all seemed pushy and overly eager to make a sale, almost like they were trying to take advantage of me. Sam, on the other hand, came across as genuine and trustworthy. He was more focused on making sure I had all the information I needed to make an informed decision, rather than just pushing a sale.Sam was also incredibly accommodating with my schedule for the furnace installation, and he personally oversaw the work to make sure everything was done correctly. He readily answered all questions we had and the pricing was quite fair.The workers came at the agreed upon day and time and were professional and efficient in their installation. I'm very impressed with the service I've recieved from Spring Home. I've known I had to replace my furnace for a while now but I've been putting it off because in my previous expierence, dealing with hvac sales people is worse than dealing with used car sales people. I contacted Spring Home after I had a few companies come by who I didnt feel very comfortable with. Justin called me very quickly after my initial inquiry and we had a lengthy discussion on the phone. He came by shortly after and sat down with me first to get an idea of what I was looking for and what I felt like the current system wasn't giving me - not one other sales person did this. We went to the basement and he took a look at the system. He educated me about how my system works and what surprised me was that he did not promise the world. He set proper expectations of how the system would work and what I should expect from a new system. He gave me a few options and the pros, cons, and pricing of each. What I liked was his impartiality about the whole situation - I didn't feel like I was being sold. I felt like he really did have my best interests in mind. He wasn't the cheapest quote but I felt really comfortable with the changes he suggested to make. The installation went well and the technicians cleaned up after themselves. Overall I'm very glad I called for another opinion and I can confidently say that Justin changed my mind about hvac sales people.A few important things to note that we're important to me were the fact that they don't use subcontractors and that they have a 24/7 365 emergency service line.Great job.

my 50 year old furnace broke down beyond repair. i was refereed to sam at spring home from a reputable electrical contractor. i am a trades person myself but i am not a furnace expert by any means. sam answered all of my questions, provided advice and just over 24hrs later a spring home crew showed up and did a very professional, clean job. in about 6hrs i had a brand new EFFICIENT furnace up and running. i would highly recommend them.

My 15 y/o furnace broke down and the Spring Home technician recommended a new furnace as it would not be worth it to repair.Sam came the next day and spent almost 2 hours to educate me on a lot HVAC and answered any questions in great detail. He took the time to measure my house and perform proper calculations to give me his best recommendations for my options moving forward. He was never pushy as a sales and was very helpful and resourceful.A couple days later the technicians came and did the install. They were friendly and professional and clean.Overall I am very impressed with everybody at Spring Home who helped me with the new install. They aren't the cheapest but I think they are reasonably priced and definitely worth it.

After shopping around different HVAC companies for a tankless water heater installation, we went ahead with Spring Home Heating & Cooling after a positive experience with Justin. He was upfront about costs and provided a lot of guidance to us as first-time homeowners. Shopping for water heaters can be daunting, especially if it's your first time. Justin's professionalism and transparency really won us over, and the price was also competitive to other quotes we received from the market. We had no issues with the installation team either, who efficiently installed the tankless heater and required exhaust piping. They were even nice enough to help us carry a shelf down to the basement! Overall, it was an excellent experience working with Spring Home Heating & Cooling - we will reach out to them again if we ever decide to replace our furnace!

Spring Home was recommended to me by family. I'm glad we took the recommendation, as they have been great to work with. We have mostly engaged with Sam, who organized our AC installation in an efficient and timely way. He took the time to share all of the options and pricing in detail. The installation went smoothly and unit is working as it should. We needed to replace our furnace and A/C unit. While doing some online research, I came across Spring Home Heating & Cooling. Based on their excellent reviews, I contacted them by phone for an estimate. I was quickly connected with Justin who reached out to schedule an onsite visit.During his visit, Justin walked me through our various options, while making a number of recommendations. He took his time to answer any questions we had, and was extremely knowledgeable about the products we were interested in.Once we made our decision, the installation was quickly scheduled and done within a day. We recently had a 2-head ductless mini-split system (Mitsubishi) installed, and I can confidently say this is the best HVAC company I've ever worked with. I had an old furnace, a/c and gas hot water heater. With Spring Home’s hard work, I updated to a Mitsubishi Zuba heat pump and AO Smith Heat Pump Water Heater.Sean came to the house and listened to my goals, gave me some ideas and put together a quote. It was not the lowest quote I got out of 4 I sought from a variety of hvac companies, but it was clear to me that Sean had the best grasp of the federal loan program I was working with and the options available. He based his advice on recent knowledge of Mitsubishi’s equipment, what my energy audit had shown and how to put together a system that would meet my goals (full electrification on 100 amp service). He was the only one of the 4 that really wanted to see the energy audit results before finalizing his quote. That told me a lot.Stephen, David and Quang made it happen at install time. No project ever goes exactly the way you plan it. There are always surprises and challenges. The key for me is how people deal with those surprises and challenges. The installers did a great job. Excellent communication. They left the job site as clean as possible and there were no surprises for me.Sean and the office staff were available by email, text and phone to field questions. Everybody I dealt with was reasonable and forthright.In a nutshell, the Spring Home crew knew what they were doing, did what they said they’d do and charged a reasonable amount of money for it. I’ve been around trades all my life and I was really impressed with this company. Good job. Don’t hesitate to give them a call.

Spring Home replaced my furnace over 10 years ago. During the past heat warning week, my aged central a/c broke down. I only contacted Spring Home for a new central a/c since I had good experiences with them. Sean is very knowledgeable and took his time to explain various options to me and even walk me through what to expect with the installation process. Sean was able to schedule me for the earliest possible installation date during such a busy heat warning time. I would not hesitate to recommend Sean and Spring Home to family and friends.

When my water heater and furnace recently broke down, Sam La came to the rescue. He explained very clearly how my existing system had been working, and then laid out some other, more cost-efficient options that were possible. He explained the various pros and cons of different installation options and set-ups in my specific situation as well as the short-term and longer-term up-front and/or operational cost savings gained with each option.On the installation day, the technicians went above and beyond. It is clear they take great pride in their work. Peter especially, dealt with some challenging venting and ducting issues with ingenuity and grit. They worked an extra-long day to ensure the system was ready to be used that evening.I usually find that technicians who are actual employees of a company, and not sub-contractors from another company, care more about their work and this installation reinforced this belief for me. From start to finish, I was very happy to work with the truly professional team at Spring Home Heating and I am confident in recommending them.

On the recommendation of a friend, we hired Spring Home to install a new high efficiency boiler and indirect water heater and then to install ductless A/C heat pumps. We worked with sales rep Sam La who is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, patient and responsive. Thanks to Sam, we knew what to expect from the products and the installation. He also provided honest pricing. In addition, the customer service and installation managers are committed to making sure we are satisfied. The installer teams themselves arrived on time, cleaned up properly, and stayed to make sure everything worked properly. (However, like many contractors, they didn't always communicate how long certain aspects of the job might take.). We will see how the A/C works out as summer approaches . . .Overall, a positive experience.

It's very challenging to start all the major repairs as a new home owner. The new home was built in 1940s. The first thing we had to do is to replace the old boiler and water tank per issuance company requirement. We looked up and contacted quite a few contractors. Luckily we met George from Spring Home who spent a lot time to explain the system and all options in the language that we can understand. He's very considerable and resourceful. The whole process of removing old boiler and water tank, and install the new combi-boiler went through smoothly and stress free! One time, in order to accommodate our space saving request, his technicians had to redo some part of their work without any question. Because of their quality work, we decide to continue to have them installed our heat pump. We are very happy with their service. Their technician Peter was very humble and professional! Thank you!
